If you are anything like me, the start of summer is full of exciting ideas and plans and then in a blink of an eye it is over and I am left wondering where the time went and how I never made it to my laundry list of projects. But just because the days are starting to get shorter doesn’t mean you have to abandon all of those amazing project aspirations.
In fact, Fall can be the perfect time to tackle projects. The weather is often more cooperative and all the busy hustle and bustle of summer starts to slow down. So now may be the perfect time to scour the internet for some inspiration. Luckily, I have done some of the work for you. The following sites are a few of my favorites when I am needing a little motivation to get started.

This site offers thousands of ideas for all different skill levels. Her tutorials, videos, and plans are easy to follow and comprehensive.
If you are feeling a little more ambitious in your construction techniques, this site has some amazing tutorials for beautiful pieces. They also give you tips for where to buy materials or finished products.

This is a great source of innovative projects. It is not exclusive to furniture but has some amazing tutorials for all levels of builders and creators. There are also lots of ideas for the young ones in your life.
It is easy to dream up tons of ideas to enhance your home, but it is not always as easy to find the motivation to start and complete these projects. Sometimes sourcing ideas and plans from others can be the perfect way to get started. Don’t be afraid to get creative and make it your own!
