Hello! I believe life is an exciting adventure and I embrace it to the fullest.  Let me tell you a little about my hobbies and interests and the joy I find in my business.

The Mighty (kitty) Thor

I have 4 furry kids who are awesome - all 4 are rescues - but Thor seems to be the one who makes me laugh the most. He was a stray kitten who was born with his kitty bro (Loki) in our backyard in 2020 so we've had the joy of watching him grow up. He may be small but he has a huge heart and a love for life.

Yes, it's true, I am a University of Michigan alum and proudly support my Wolverine football....but no worries Ohio State fans - we count some Ohio State Buckeyes amongst our happy customers!

Embracing the Outdoors

One of the things that truly energizes me is being outdoors, surrounded by the wonders of nature.  Biking through scenic trails, conquering triathlons, and hiking to breathtaking viewpoints are my ways of connecting to the world around me.  These activities allow me to push my limits, appreciate the beauty of the world, and stay mentally and physically fit.

Community Support with Toastmasters

Toastmasters has been an incredible journey for me.  It has helped me hone my public speaking skills, express my thoughts more eloquently, and connect with a community of like-minded individuals which has been inspiring.  It is a place where I continually challenge myself, grow in confidence, and encourage others to do the same.  Our store actually hosts the local Toastmasters club, Maverick, on Tuesday evenings - come by and see what it is all about!

Our Business - A Labor of Love

Owning and managing our small family business is more than just work for me; it is a passion project.  I pour my heart and soul into every aspect, to ensure we provide quality furniture for our customers.  Seeing customers that are happy with their furniture is rewarding and incredibly motivating.

Being optimistic isn't just a mindset for me, it's a way of life.  I firmly believe that a positive outlook can transform a negative situation and I try to inspire others to do the same.  Life's challenges are opportunities for growth and learning and I strive to spread this uplifting perspective to everyone I encounter.
